Get Your Knit Together

Hey I'm back. Back so fast? Yeah. My sister gave me a sweater today. I'm wearing it below. The same sister is the sister that this hat is for! Hooray! One more down. Why did I take so many damn pictures of myself? Get your knit together, Sarit. OMG I pretty much finished my college applications today! Whoop whoop! I still have to finish one letter of recommendation thing. But shh. I did it, ok? I like this sweater. It's so comfortable. I like sweaters a lot. Bye byeeeeeee.

BOOKS ABOUT KNITTING!?!?

Welcome back! Today I went to some thrift stores and picked up some books on knitting. Fun! Together they were $3. Can you believe that? It's amazing. I also found this sweater I'm wearing at Value Village. I love it so much! It's so warm and comfortable. I think my next knitting project will be making a ton of shit from this 100 Knitting Projects book. And I'll learn how to make the stuff I don't know how to make in the Encyclopedia book. I'm so excited! I'm almost done with this hat I'm making for my sister, and I still have to make the other one for my other sister. I'm so excited to be done with that because I've made so many of those hats. I do like making those hats though. However, I want to MOVE on! It's all good though. I'm not complaining. I hope all my (one) viewer had a great holiday. I did have a good holiday, thanks. You're welcome.
ok bye.
ps. I'm almost done with college applications. omg so excited.

Will I Ever Stop Making These Hats?

Hi all! I finally finished another hat. 2 more of these to go! Whoop whoop. I wore my gray one out in public the other day and that was fun because I've never worn something I made in public before! Look at how beautiful these pictures are. It was when I saw the new Star Wars! I saw it on the 21st. The day before that, my family and I spent the day binge watching Star Wars. All 6 of them in a row. It was amazing. This hat is for my brother. That's why it's a little big for me. His head is bigger than mine. The next two are going to be this kind of hat, but in different colors. This way my siblings and I are going to have matching hats. Whoop whoop. It was going to be their Hannukah presents, but I didn't have enough time, so it'll be their belated Hannukah presents or something like that. Please enjoy these beautiful pictures below:

2 more to go!

I Needle Little Help Here

Hey all! Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for stuff. I just recently finished this hat! It was pretty quick to make because the yarn is thick and so were the needles. It was made on a circular needle and I didn't use a pattern. I kind of winged the decreasing of the stitches towards the top because I wasn't using a pattern and it turned out ok. It's a little wonky at the top, but not too noticeable. I basically just knit this on the circular needles and tested it on my head to find when I should decrease. At first I made it too big and decided to start over. I started with about 35 stitches on this version. Tomorrow ,as per the true American way, I am going to go black Friday shopping. (Maybe I'll pick up some new yarn even though I don't need it, but would like it.) Today I painted my toenails kind of reddish with sparkles at the top. Isn't that fun and interesting? (Picture not included) I also made mashed potatoes today for my family! It was fun to learn how to make them because I like them a lot. Peace out! Bye.
I blinked

Whoops it slipped
ps.Wasn't that knitting pun as a title so darn hilarious? I know.

I Kind Of Normally Smile

Haha I don't feel like doing homework right now, even though I definitely should be doing it. Look it's me and I'm smiling like one of those people who smile in pictures that they put in their blog. I made this hat using a circular needle and this awesome yarn my sister got me this summer. There are some mistakes, but it's really comfortable and fits my head. It's been a while since I did the ribbing pattern so it was hard at first to get back into the swing of things. But it didn't really take that long so that's good. Goodness gracious I need to get back to my homework.

I Am Over The Moon

I put a moon on the scarf thing. It's kind of a small scarf, so it's it's kind of more of a cowl. I worked on this moon while watching The Great British Baking Show. It's such a cute show. My favorite is Martha. She's 17 like me. Whoo. Happy yesterday birthday. The moon looks better in person then on the camera, because the camera flipped the moon as one does. Doesn't it look like the night sky? NIGHT SKY NIGHT SKY!
This was my present to my sister and the finger hat was the present to my other sister.

Teenager Shows How Cool She Is

Hey folks!
I've been working on a many knitting projects. Below is the full completed version of the skirt. Hooray. So amazing. In the picture it looks amazing, but the waistband is a tad too big even though I fixed it up by cutting it and resewing it. I think it looks pretty cool. I like the color scheme. I am working on a scarf right now and I also just finished a teenage angst hat. I did the hat on a loom and then used white yarn and a tapestry needle to embroider the hand. Wow. In knitting club people are knitting a square which we will combine into a blanket and give to a domestic abuse shelter. I'm so excited for its completion! I've been trying to knit every night or so while listening to some podcasts or stand-up comedians on Pandora. I would like to recommend Margaret Cho and Cameron Esposito as great stand-up comedians. Also Stuff Mom Never Told You is a great podcast.
So fashion. Fashion icon.

Wow i'm so cool.

Stitch, please.

Hello fellow people,
I'm back! It's so hard post as much as the summer because I am busy with college and school. Right now I am working on a stripped skirt. Please direct your attention to the title. Isn't so beautiful? I'm really proud of it. I really don't want to do my homework, but I really need to. Isn't that great? Hey colleges, if you're reading this don't worry. I take my education very seriously, but sometimes a person doesn't feel like doing homework and feels like focusing on their hobbies. You may not be familiar with this type of thinking, but I promise, everyone who applies to your school feels this way at some point or another. Also don't look at the last picture. Colleges feel free to look at the first picture. I think you'll learn a lot about my personality from it. I've been knitting a lot before bed, and watching a lot of Gilmore Girls. There was literally an episode about KNITTING and I did not knit during it. I ate dinner. While I do support all kinds of dinner eating, I was so angry I did not participate in the knitting while watching the knitting episode. Oh also Knitting Club at school is going well. We've had three sessions (I guess you'd call them that), but I've only been Co-President for two of them. It's a long and not that interesting story. Hooray for knitting club! The only downside is that I don't get a big chance to eat or knit during it. I usually just help others knit, which I enjoy doing a lot though.

To classy for you

I made this awhile ago, and I wanted to add my teenage angst into my love of knitting/yarn/friendship bracelet making. So much teenage angst.

I am hip

I made a reversible-ish hat. I finished it, and I started it today. WOW! Go me. Am I right, folks? You can wear this hat and be all hip, or you can wear it to be warm. So many options! It's the same pattern as the last hat, but with one ball of yarn. I really like the colors of the yarn. Please enjoy some weird pictures of me below modeling my hat:

Oversized Hat on an Undersized Human

Hey hey hey! Guess who's back! This weekend I made and finished this hat within a day! Isn't that amazing? I know, it is. It's an oversized hat. The stitches are oversized, not that hat. I used two stands of yarn instead of one. Also I used size 17 circular needles (I think). I'm also working on a second one, because it's fun and pretty easy and pretty fast. This one doesn't have two different colors. I also think I want to make a skirt after this. Remember that hat that I was going to make that was going to be red, orange, and yellow? I still haven't made it. Whoops! I just kinda don't want to right now. Maybe the inspiration will strike!

Classy Baby Soft

I finished the baby soft scarf for my sister. It's so short so there isn't a lot of styling you can do with it, unless you're creative! She's going to love it. She's really into this baby soft yarn, and asked me to make something for her. The pattern is just the knit stitch on size 10 needles. I got the yarn from Goodwill, so it wasn't a full sized ball of yarn, so that's why it's so short. It's really soft, though! Look below for fashion tips on different ways of wearing the scarf.

Sarit Wears A Sweater and Shops At A Thrift Store

Thrift store yarn haul!!! Today I had an impromptu visit to a thrift store, and I can't walk into a thrift store without getting myself some yarn. I also wanted to show off the sweater I am wearing in these pictures, because I haven't been able to wear this since last April probably because It's been too hot. Yay fall! ps. look at the last picture for a non-yarn related item. The two balls of yarn I am holding in my hand (the third picture down) are really soft. You can't really tell. I think I'm going to use most of the yarn in the bag for my Knitting Club that I am (hopefully) starting. I really hope it works out! I'm still working on a scarf for my sister. It's a really simple scarf, it's just long and I haven't been able to get around to finishing it. It'll be done soon, though! (I hope).
