Sarit Is Learning To Cable!

The journey of learning how to cable has reached a new point. I have learned how to do a basic cable, folks! It may not be a full cable, but a part one I guess. There are some mistakes and I need to practice more, but I learned how to do this! There are a lot of different kinds of cable, but this one is pretty basic just going back and front and looks like it's going side to side. When it's going in the back you're supposed to purl the stitches off the cable needle and in the front knit them off the cable needle. With this style you move the cable in a direction where in other ones you work within the stitch itself. It's pretty small. I started with four stitches for the cable and moved it down to two stitches (accidentally). When the stitches are going to the back they will lean right and forward it will lean right. Also you need to start with some ribbed stitches, which is pictured below. This is so fun to learn!
I am back from college! My first year of college is done. College is amazing and I love it so much. I've been back for awhile. It's weird being back home. I have too much free time! Going from always working to having a ton of free time is weird. I feel so unproductive! This is productive, though. Productive fun! What does productivity mean? Also why is it so important? Why is it bad to just be a lump on a couch? It just feels like a waste of time I guess. However, sometimes being a lump is necessary to take a brake from being productive.
