JK, this is not a Glee recap, though now I wish it was. Here is a short post on some things I didn't post about. Last summer I started another blanket project in which I use my beloved (and often unused due to the price of big yarn) big needles! I wanted to make a blanket with some nice pink yarn I found on sale. I am using the seed stitch and am now rethinking this project because the seed stitch is kinda hard to do on already physically tiring knitting needles. I may restart and do a classic knit or knit/purl combo. We'll see. I still have it. (See below for more)

At the beginning of the school year in the fall, shortly after last summer I made my Mom buy me some beautiful and expensive yarn in New York before I head off to my semester in London! Feast your eyes on these abroad photos! I made this hat with this yarn. I still don't know if it's the right kind of yarn for a hat, because it's rather chunky, but that's ok! Chunky is nice for keeping my head warm, which is important. I made a classic cable hat for this project. I wanted to practice my cabling skills and create a practical piece for the colder weather. I have done both!
